Welcome to the new Sole Adventure!  As you can see, things look a bit different around here now.  I didn’t change the design simply to freshen things up.  This new design is all about function, speed, and readability.

The text is bigger and more spacious, especially on larger screens.  But for you folks on smaller screens, tablets, and phones, this new design should work equally as well.  As we all know, mobile device usage continues to increase, and I have noticed that many of you read Sole Adventure from such devices.  This new design actually changes based on the device that you view the site from, so it should provide the best format for you, no matter what device you visit from.

Other changes include a new mobile photoblog, which will allow me to post photos from my phone.  This will be especially handy when I am out on hunts, as well as when I am attending other events, such as the ATA Show next week.  You may also notice that this new design doesn’t have any ads.  I didn’t make much money from ads, but it did help cover some of the overhead of running this site.  I hope to remain ad-free in the future, but we will see what costs dictate.

What hasn’t changed…

Things may look different around here, but I will tell you what hasn’t changed with Sole Adventure…my focus and passion for three things – Bowhunting, Archery, and Adventure!  I am unbelievably excited about the amazing opportunities that are coming for 2013!  This is going to be an amazing year and I can’t wait to share it with you.  Thank you for reading!
